PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1- 3 to consider the complaint and investigate and implement the permanent disconnection of EB Connection No.09-211-025 -197 in the name of Pepwell.

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to consider the complaint of the petitioner and permanently disconnect the EB connection bearing service connection No.09-211-025 -197 in the name of a company called M/s.Peppwell.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is a co-owner of the property situated at Door No.3/2, Poomagal 4th street, Ekkaduthangal, Chennai-600

097. The petitioner submitted a representation in the name of M/s.Peppwell before the 2nd respondent seeking disconnection of the electricity service connection bearing connection No.09-211-025 -197.

4. Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel(TNEB) takes notice for the respondents.

5. In the representation, the petitioner has not given any details regarding his entitlement to the property or his right to seek disconnection of the service connection. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any 2/4

positive direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to file fresh representation before the respondents giving correct particulars of the property and his proprietary right over the same. No costs.
