The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in connection with Crime No.32 of 2025 before the appropriate Court within a stipulated time and to secure the accused. 1/4

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though, based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, the respondent registered a case in Crime No.32 of 2025 against the accused for the offences under Sections 419, 420, 468, 471 and 34 of IPC, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.

Learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that the investigation is in progress and respondent police will be able to file the final report at the earliest.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent. 5.

In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to file a final report in Crime No.32 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. 6.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
