The petitioner herein who was arrested on 17.08.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.507 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 1.200 Kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that at the time of the alleged incident, the petitioner was getting treatment at Dharapuram and it is not possible for the respondent police to arrest the petitioner at Tiruppur and the petitioner is no way connected with alleged offence and a false case has been foisted against her. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner was arrested at Tiruppur during the afternoon and the medical bills relied on by the petitioner shows that the transactions were taken place in the early morning of the day and petitioner was arrested subsequently. He further submitted that the petitioner has not been falsely implicated in this case. He submitted that there are four previous cases of similar nature pending against the petitioner and the investigation is at initial stage. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the fact that the investigation is at initial stage and there are 4 previous cases pending against the petitioner and she was arrested only on 17.08.2025, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
