COMMON ORDER These Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed by the State to accept the affidavits and extend the time by six months to complete the investigation of the case and to file final reports as per the directions given by this Court in its order dated 18.03.2025 in W.P.No.5517 of 2024 and W.P.No.2187 of 2025.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the petitioner would submit that based on the petitions filed by the complainant in W.P.No.5517 of 2024 and W.P.No.2187 of 2025, the investigation in respect of Crime No.9 of 2021 and Crime No. 22 of 2023 were transferred to CB-CID by order dated 18.03.2025 and that the final report was directed to be filed within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of entire case diary. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would further submit that the entire case diaries were received on 20.05.2025 and that the petitioner is continuing with the investigation. He would further submit that the cases relate to forgery, fabrication of documents and impersonation. Hence, the petitioner has sought records from the Sub Registrar Office, wherein the documents have been registered and due to delay in obtaining the documents, the petitioner is unable
to comply with the time frame fixed by this Court. Therefore, the present petitions have been filed seeking extension of time.
3. Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the time to comply with the order of this Court dated 18.03.2025, is extended by a further period of four months from from the date of this order.
