ORDER

This application has been filed by the applicant to amend the date of death of the testatrix as 11.01.2023 instead of 14.01.2023, wherever it occurs in the main Original Petition.

2. According to the applicant, he filed the main Original Petition to grant Letters of Administration and, at the time of filing of the Original Petition, the date of death of the testatrix has been wrongly mentioned as 14.01.2023, instead of 11.01.2023. Therefore, this application has been filed by the applicant to permit him to amend the date of death of the testatrix as 11.01.2023. In support of the said submission, he produced the death certificate of the testatrix.

3. There is no respondent in the application.

4. This Court carefully perused the materials available on record. The applicant has also produced a copy of the death certificate of the testatrix, namely L.Thangamma, wherein, the date of death of the testatrix is mentioned as 11.01.2023.

Therefore, the said typographical error in the pleadings of the Original Petition has to be corrected suitably.

5. In view of the above, the application is allowed as prayed for.

6. For carrying out amendment and for filing Amended Petition Copy (APC), post the matter on 27.10.2025.
