Since the petitioners' representation dated 26.10.2023, seeking the issuance of a patta with reference to the property comprised in S.No.170 at Ammal Nagar, Egattuthagal Village, Chennai, has not been considered, the petitioners are before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer that is sought and also considering the fact that the representation made by the petitioners on 26.10.2023 has not been considered to date, a mandamus is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2023 for issuance of patta after issuing notice to all the interest parties and pattadars, hearing their objections and thereafter pass orders. In case of a rejection a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
