ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking police protection from the fourth respondent.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner purchased a property at Edaicheruvai Village, Tittagudi from one Sangeetha. However, the tenant in the said property, namely fifth respondent, refused to vacate the property and causing threat to him. Hence, he made a complaint to the second respondent, but no action has been taken till date.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has purchased the subject property, however the fourth respondent, who is a tenant, is still in possession of the property and causing disturbance to him. Hence, he seeks police protection.

4. Considering the above submission, this Court is of the view that it is for the petitioner to take appropriate civil action against the tenant for eviction not by way of filing a petition before this Court. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
