Respondent(s) Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2023 regarding sanction of family pension to the petitioner under Tamil Nadu Pension Rules 1978, by counting half of the services rendered in non-pensionable establishment (i.e) in Tamil Nadu Steels, Arakonam from 1.1.1989 to 31.7.1998 along with pensionable service in the 4th respondent for

calculating the pension as per G.O.Ms.No.118 Finance (pension) Department dated 14.2.1996 in the light of the orders of this Court in W.P.No.21452/2012 dated 17.12.2013 and pass appropriate order within a time limit.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2023, within a time frame.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication and he has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect.
