..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to impugned notice bearing Na.Ka No.1131/ 2023/ A6, dated 30.11.2023 on the file of the 1st Respondent and to quash the same and to consequently direct the 1st Respondent to remove the lock and de-seal the shop No.15 at Gandhi Market Commercial Complex, Pollachi allotted to petitioner by it under lease.

O R D E R

The challenge in this Writ Petition is against the impugned order that was passed for removal of the Bar at Shop No.15, attached to the TASMAC Shop No. 2043 situated at Shop No.16 at Gandhi Market Commercial Complex, Pollachi.

2.The petitioner would submit that the 1st respondent citing the reason that only the shop premises were leased out to the petitioner and no authority is granted to run the Bar at Shop No.2043, has passed the impugned order. 3.However, now the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent would submit that as the original lease period had lapsed on 31.01.2024, upon submission of application for renewal of lease, the same shall be considered.

4.On perusal of the submission made on both sides and since the petitioner has been permitted to run the Bar in the subject premises, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the application for renewal of lease submitted by the petitioner in his favour and grant the lease to the petitioner. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
