ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 31.01.2014 thereby transferred the petitioner to Salem on the condition that she would be placed last in the seniority list and for a direction directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 23.10.2024.

2. The petitioner was appointed as a Typist through TNPSC in the Land Revenue Department on 25.07.2009. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a request for transfer to Salem District. The request was considered, and the petitioner was transferred to the office of the Tahsildar, Salem, on the condition that she would be placed last in the seniority list. The petitioner accepted the said condition without any protest and joined her duty at Salem. She continued to serve in the transferred post for a period of eleven years. 2/5

3. Having joined the office of the Tahsildar at Salem and having served there for a period of eleven years, the petitioner has now approached this Court challenging the order of transfer. Since she voluntarily accepted the transfer and its conditions without any protest and remained silent for about 11 years, she cannot challenge it now.

4. Therefore, this Writ Petition is devoid of merit and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 29-10-2025 shr Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes 3/5
