The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 04.08.2004 made for inclusion of the name of the petitioners in the joint patta.
2. Almost 18 years lapsed and on account of efflux of time, the authorities may not be in a position to look into the complaint filed by the petitioners in the year 2004.
3. Thus, the petitioners are at liberty to submit a fresh application, if any grievance exists as of now and in the event of receiving any such application, the authorities competent has to consider the same by following the procedures as contemplated under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act and Rules.
