The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of investigation/enquiry.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent Police are unnecessarily harassing the petitioner. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the de facto complainant pertaining to a money dispute, an enquiry was conducted by the respondent and that the petitioner was summoned only for the purpose enquiry. However, after completion of the enquiry, the complaint was closed.
