petition No.1000/87 and Civil Appeal No.1710 of 1987, and Civil Appeal No.1538 of 1997 dated 21.02.1997.

ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to issue a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider their representation dated 16.06.2004, for initiating appropriate action against the 5th respondent for permitting an outsider to put up a canteen inside the hospital premises in the 5th respondent hospital against the undertaking given by the 1st respondent before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, in Writ Petition No.1000/87 and Civil Appeal No.1710 of 1987, and Civil Appeal No.1538 of 1997 dated 21.02.1997.
2. Today (06.09.2017), when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.Akhil Akbar Ali, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents represented that the canteen in question has been removed and the respondents produced two communications, one dated 21.07.2016 addressed to the fifth respondent and another communication dated 31.08.2017 addressed to him, stating that the canteen has been removed.
3. In view of the above, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
