The petitioner herein was arrested on 08.08.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(A) and 22(b) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.177 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4
2.The allegation against this petitioner is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 45 grams of Ganja type Hashish Oil, 375 grams of Opium and 4.5 grams of Methamphetamine along with various apparatus used for packing and selling the contraband. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he is not having any previous case. He further submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 08.08.2025 and he is ready to abide by any condition imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Government Advocate Criminal Side appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and submitted the investigation is not completed. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the fact that though the quantity seized from each category is intermediate, however, three types of contraband had been seized from this petitioner along with the apparatus used for packing and the 2/4
petitioner was arrested only on 08.08.2025 and the investigation in this case is not completed, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 23.09.2025 smv To 1.The Inspector of Police PEW Police Station, Coimbatore City.
