This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in a case in Crime No.17 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent and file a final report before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Edappadi, Salem District within stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is passed as against the private respondent, notice to the private respondent is dispensed with.

4. Mr.S.Sugendran, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, submitted that the investigation is almost completed and the final report would be filed within a period of

three months.
