Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for, to issue a Writ of Mandamus by directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed in Application No.TN-5202406191013 dated 19.06.2024 and to fix an early date for hearing of the said appeal within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The online application made by the petitioner seeking issuance of community certificate was rejected by the issuing authority viz. the Revenue Divisional Officer. The petitioner has preferred an Appeal to the District Collector, the Appeal has been pending for almost 6 months now. 2/4

Considering the pendency of the Appeal for nearly six months, there will be a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the Appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
