O R D E R
The petitioners were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, in Crime No.166 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners were found in possession of 240 nos. liquor bottles transported from Pondicherry. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and have been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioners are ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioners.
4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed the grant of bail to the petitioners, submitting that the 1st petitioner/A1 has one previous case, 2nd petitioner/A3 has 11 previous cases and the 3rd petitioner/A4 has 6 previous cases.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the gravity of the offences and bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
