Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to disburse the compensation to the petitioner for acquiring petitioners land for the Tindivanam-Nagari Broad Gauge Railway Track Project in S.No.177/8B1B2 to the extent of 4950. Sq.Mt, Vellathur Village, R.K.Pet Taluk, Thiruvallur District based on the proceedings in Na. Ka. No. 5617 / 2018 / F1 dt. 30.12.2022 on the file of the 1st respondent. 1/4

O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed for the following reliefs:- "directing the 1st respondent to disburse the compensation to the petitioner for acquiring petitioners land for the Tindivanam-Nagari Broad Gauge Railway Track Project in S.No.177/8B1B2 to the extent of 4950. Sq.Mt, Vellathur Village, R.K.Pet Taluk, Thiruvallur District based on the proceedings in Na. Ka. No. 5617 / 2018 / F1 dt. 30.12.2022 on the file of the 1st respondent."

2. Today, when the matter came up for admission, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Spl.GP. would submit that he has received a communication from the Special Tahsildar, Land Acquisition in which it has been stated as follows:- " In adherence to the above Commissioner of Land Administration instructions, the transmission process is currently underway and nearing completion. After finalizing this process, the petitioner's application will be verified and the compensation amount will be credited to their account within two weeks".

3. Considering the fact that the respondents have undertaken to credit the compensation amount to the petitioner's account, no further orders are required to be passed in the above writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of on the above undertaking. No costs.
