Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order vide Memo No.823/BDFGISSSV/2019 dated 30.11.2019 passed by the second Respondent and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the body of the detenue Amanullah S/o.Anwar Basha, aged about 39 years now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in No.823/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 30.11.2019 detaining his son as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No347 Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 20.01.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
