This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 and issue No Objection Certificate to the Petitioner.

2. Mr.A.M.Ravindranath Jeyapaul, learned Standing Counsel (TNHB) takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

Brief facts that are necessary for disposal of this Writ Petition are:- The petitioner herein is the absolute owner of the subject property which was sought to be acquired by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board. However, the said Acquisition proceedings were quashed by this Court in a batch of Writ Petitions in W.P.Nos.20300 of 1994, 15590, 15591, 15592 & 15598 of 1991 vide order dated 11.06.1999which was confirmed in W.A.Sr.No.9270 of 2011. Subsequently, the petitioner had filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.12388 of 2024 seeking a direction to the Sub-Registrar, Pallavaram, Chennai to register the petitioner's property and the same was allowed vide order dated 25.06.2024.

Pursuant thereto, the petitioner had presented the document for registration before the Sub-Registrar, Pallavaram, however, the same is kept pending insisting for consent from the Tamil Nadu Housing Board with regard to the earlier objections pursuant to the acquisition proceedings. Therefore, the petitioner had addressed a representation dated 01.09.2025 to the respondent herein requesting to issue No Objection Certificate to the petitioner. However, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 and pass orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs therespondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties. 3/4
