ORDER
This Petition is filed seeking for an issuance of a writ, in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct the public auction to lease out the seven commercial shops premises situated at Vaduganthangal, Gudiyattam Kadpati Main Road, Vaduganthangal near bus stand constructed by Panchayat Union by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2024.

When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing today, Mr.P.Kumaresan, the learned Additional Advocate General for the first respondent would submit that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous, since, already a Resolution has been passed by the first Respondent, District Collector, Vellore District, as early as on 25.10.2024 and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. 2/4
3. In the light of the above submission, this Court is also of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition. If at all, the petitioner is aggrieved by the Resolution passed by the first respondent, it is well open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the liberty, as stated supra. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 09.03.2026 sd Index : yes/no To
