This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to complete the investigation and to file final report within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.J.Arun Prasad, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side], appearing for respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] submitted that investigation was completed and closure report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate II, Tindivanam, as further action dropped. The RCS notice was also served on the petitioner in RCS No.70 of 2020.

4. In the light of the stand taken by the respondent police, it is left open to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the concerned jurisdictional Court viz., Judicial Magistrate, Tinidivanam and work out his remedy in accordance with law.
