PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to call for the records in connected with F.I.R in Crime No.1 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Puducherry and quash the same.

O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. registered in Crime No.1 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.Balamurugane, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the first respondent police and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the first respondent police, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the petition mentioned Crime Number i.e. 1 of 2019, the first respondent police completed the investigation and filed a final report before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pondicherry. The said submission is recorded.

4. Since the final report has already been filed in the petition mentioned F.I.R., nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner for filing a petition to challenge the final report. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
