ORDER
It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Correspondent of Concordia Higher Secondary School Vaniyambadi Thirupattur District, through a resolution passed unanimously by the Executive Committee on 02.02.2021 and the said appointment was also stated to have been approved by the 1st respondent through proceedings in Na.Ka.No.777/A2/2023 dated 03.03.2023. While so, the petitioner went abroad, after seeking appropriate permission from the 1st respondent through proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2519/A2/2023 dated 05.07.2023 and thereafter, when the petitioner returned back, he sought permission to act as Correspondent of the Page No.2 of 6
above said School by submitting the representation dated 08.12.2023. Complaining inaction on part of the 1st respondent in considering the said representation dated 08.12.2023, the petitioner approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
2.When the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.K.H. Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the Management of the said School has appointed a person by name Mr.P.Anandh Sellappa, as Correspondent on additional charge basis and the said appointment was approved by the 1st respondent through proceedings Na.Ka.No.3719/A5/2024 dated 02.12.2024 and the copy of the same was also placed before this Court. The approval of appointment of the said person as Correspondent on additional charge basis through proceedings Na.Ka.No.3719/A5/2024dated 02.12.2024 is not disputed. 3.In the light of the above, this Court cannot go into the merits of the case as to the entitlement or disentitlement of the petitioner for being continued as Correspondent at this stage, especially, in the absence of the person who is entrusted with the additional charge of the post of Page No.3 of 6
Correspondent being made as party to this writ petition. However, as the short grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is only not considering the representation dated 08.12.2023 said to have been submitted before the respondent.
4.In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 08.12.2023 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by duly putting all the necessary parties on notice including the Management of Concordia Higher Secondary School Vaniyambadi Thirupattur District as well as the person holding the post of Correspondent on additional charge basis.
