The petitioner who is A1 in S.C.No.23 of 2019 now pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Cuddalore, seeks bail. Originally, Crime No.218 of 2017 had been registered by the respondent Police for the offences under Section 174 of Cr.P.C as women missing and later, altered to Sections 302, 201 and 120-b of IPC.

2.The deceased was found missing on 15.05.2017 and after investigation, the final report had been filed and it is now pending trial in S.C.No.23 of 2019 before the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Cuddalore. The petitioner did not attend the Court and was issued with non bailable warrant on 14.06.2019 and the petitioner was secured only on 11.01.2023. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is a lorry driver and also that his child was differently abled. 4.It is also to be noted that A2 died which means the petitioner is the sole accused before the trial Court.

Vkr 5.There is no guarantee that the petitioner would continue to attend the Court. Let the trial be commenced and let the trial be completed at the earliest.
