G.Karpagavalli ..Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing 4th to 6th respondents, their men, agents servants and subordinates from in any manner entering into any part of lands measuring Acre 9.68 cents in S.No.877/1 and /or its subdivision in Neithavoyal village, ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, which has been declared as communal lands for the common benefits of villagers of Neithavoyal village and doing survey demarcation at the behest of 7th respondent or any other individuals claiming through her or otherwise.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Chief Justice) The petitioner's grievance appears to be mainly because of an alleged sale transaction and subsequent demarcation proceedings by the revenue authorities.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the subject property has already been declared to be community land in an independently instituted civil proceedings, which according to him, has attained finality.
3. The grievance of the petitioners is essentially with regard to the legality and validity of the alleged sale transaction, which can be challenged by filing a civil suit. Giving liberty to the petitioners to seek appropriate declaration as against the sale transaction before a court of competent jurisdiction, the writ petition is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
