ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 115(2), 309(4), 311, 351(3) of BNS (Under Section 341, 294(b), 323, 392, 397 and 506(ii) of IPC) in Crime No.522 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner waylaid the defacto complainant, abused and assaulted him; that thereafter, robbed a sum of Rs.1,200/- at knife point and also threatened the defacto complainant of dire consequences. Hence, this case. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was falsely implicated in this case only for statistical purpose and the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 4.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the 2/4

prosecution case and states that the petitioner has 10 previous cases including murder and NDPS cases; and that the investigation is pending. 5.

Considering the facts, gravity of offence, the previous antecedents of the petitioner and the fact that investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.

Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 23.09.2025 stn To
