[This case has been heard through Video Conference] The petitioners, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with a case registered in Crime No.42 of 2019 for the offence punishable u/s 7 and 8 r/w 16 and 17 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012 (POCSO Act), seek anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the original petitions are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respective petitioners through video conference sought permission of this court to withdraw the petitions.

Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn and the order of interim protection granted by this court on 30.12.2019 directing the respondent police not to arrest the petitioners which has been subsequently extended from time to time, shall stand vacated in view of the dismissal of the original petitions. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
