Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land by metes and bound with the application and e-challan dated 14.07.2025 & 15.07.2025 and to issue separate patta to the above said land in the petitioner's name on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2025.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed for direction to respondents 1 to 5 to survey and demarcate the petitioner's lands by metes and bound with the application and e-challan dated 14.07.2025 & 15.07.2025 and to issue separate patta in the petitioner's name on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2025.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased certain pieces of lands comprised in S.No.116/3 at Navakurichi Village, Thalaivasal Taluk (former Attur Taluk), Salem District. In order to survey the said lands, he submitted an application before the respondents. Also he paid requisite fees for the same. However, the third respondent did not take any steps to survey the aforesaid lands so far.

In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid lands after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject lands, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There 3/6
shall be no order as to costs.
