ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No. 25923 of 2013 dated 04.07.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the documents placed on record.

3. It is pertinent to note that this Court while passing orders in W.P.No.25923 of 2013 dated 04.07.2023 directed the respondent herein to grant continuity of service and other attendant benefits to the petitioner from 30.06.1997 to 08.09.2000 and for the period from 18.03.2004 to 11.09.2005. Aggrieved by the said order, the respondent has preferred Writ Appeal in W.A.No.1407 of 2026 and obtained an order of Interim Stay by an order dated 02.06.2026 in C,M.P.No.13003 of 2026 in W.A.No.1407 of 2026.

4. In view of the above, the present Contempt Petition is closed for the present. However, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the Contempt Petition subject to the result of the Writ Appeal.
