These petitions have been filed to condone the delay of 349 days in filing the petition to set aside the abatement of the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal No.248 of 2001 so far as the deceased 2nd respondent Late Mr.V.B.Jagadeesan on account of his death; to bring on record the respondents 5 to 7 the proposed respondents 9 to 11 herein as the legal representatives of the deceased 2nd respondent, Late Mr.V.R.Jagadeesan as the respondents 9 to 11 in the C.M.A.No.248 of 2001 and to set aside the abatement of the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal No.284 of 2001 so far as the deceased 2nd respondent Late Mr.V.B.Jagadeesan, on account of his death in the above appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavits filed in support of the petitions and since the respondents have given no objection in allowing these petitions, these petitions are ordered.

4. The Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title.
