Jeevan Pramaan portal through India post payments Bank (IPPB) with door step services or by biometric device from e-Seva centres as per G.O.Ms.No.136, Finance(Pension) Department, dated 20.05.2022 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent to release the family pension from the month of November 2023, based on the Life Certificate issued by the Indian Bank and consequently directing the respondents to allow the pensioners to carry out mustering process in the Jeevan Pramaan portal through India post payments Bank (IPPB) with door step services or by biometric device from e-Seva centres as per G.O.Ms.No.136, Finance(Pension) Department, dated 20.05.2022 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
