ORDER

Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.59 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and 8 of 1/4

Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012, the present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The prosecution is that, the complaint has been given by the Head Master of the School stating that the accused, who was a Chemistry teacher in the school, has misbehaved with the girl students by inappropriately touching them. Hence the case.

3. Pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner, due to dispute between the teachers, false complaint has been given with delay of one year and three months, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court.

4. The case of the prosecution as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police, opposing for grant of anticipatory bail, is that the petitioner, who was working as a Chemistry teacher in the school, has misbehaved with the minor girl students in the school. He further submitted that there are 27 victims in this case. Statements of 5 victims have been recorded and yet 2/4

another statement of 22 victims have not been recorded because of their exams. However, they have also given statement to the police.

5. Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, the nature of the allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
