ORDER

This application has been filed to condone the delay of 87 days in filing the inventory in the above O.P.No.743 of 2023.

2. According to the applicants, they are the petitioners in the main petition. They have filed the original petition seeking Letters of Administration in their favour in respect of the Will of late A.Sivagami. 1/3

Since the estate comprises several movables properties, including substantial quantities of gold, diamond and silver jewellery, besides other articles, it took considerable time to procure all such items, have them properly weighed, catalogued, and valued by competent valuers, and to consolidate the reports. Therefore, they were unable to file the petition within the prescribed time.

3. There are no respondents in this application.

4. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit and the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is allowed and the delay is condoned.

5. Post the matter on 19.11.2025.
