ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition in para 7, imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P. No.27648 of 2024 on 20.11.2024, so far as out of the two sureties, one should be a blood relative of the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, 1/4

this Court while granting bail to the petitioner imposed a condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond Rs.15,000/- with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Special Judge, Special Court for EC & NDPS Act, Chennai and out of the two sureties, one should a blood relative of the petitioner. He also submitted that the petitioner is unable to arrange the blood surety, since the family members of the petitioner have not come forward to execute the sureties, hence prays to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner with respect of execution of sureties. 3.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the petitioner is aged about 20 years and residing at Narparamban Kaladi Village, Ponnani, Melapakkam District, Kerala State. He also submitted that the address of the petitioner has been verified by the respondent police. 4.

Considering the submissions of both sides and the petitioner has a permanent residence in Kerala, the condition in para 7 with respect of blood surety, imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P. No.27648 of 2024 on 20.11.2024, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond Rs.15,000/- with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Special Judge, Special Court for EC & NDPS Act, Chennai. of which one surety shall be local surety in the native place of the petitioner.
