ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed for the relief of a Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 19.05.2025 sent by the petitioner and to consider the period of 1848 days, being the absence period, as continuity of service with eligible leave including extraordinary leave as per order dated 22.01.2012 and to provide the petitioner with the service benefits counting the aforesaid period as part of the pensionary benefits.

2. Though a larger prayer has been sought for in this writ Petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice to direct the st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.05.2025 and pass orders on the same within a time frame.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1 respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.05.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation with regard to the merits of the petitioner's claim. No costs.
