ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.9291 of 2021 dated 15.11.2023.

2. As per the status report, the property was standing in the name of one Venu Naidu who died leaving behind 5 sons and 2 daughters. As the land owners have not produced valid title deeds, the compensation amount is deposited before the Civil Court in LAOP No.105/87 and 108/87.

3. Despite it is stated that the amount has been deposited in the Civil Court, three grandsons of the original owner Venu Naidu were said to have been given with job assistance. When other petitioners are struggling even to get one job assistance, it is strange that three jobs have been given by the respondent. In this regard, it has to be clarified that the respondent shall not construe the job given to any of the family members prior to the land acquisition as job assistance. Page No.2 of 4

4. Unless the dispute with regard to ownership and legalheirship is resolved, it is difficult for the respondent to consider the job assistance as claimed by the petitioner. In this regard also, it is appropriate for the respondent to pass orders and if the petitioner still considers that she has got further scope for raising the same relief, she can take the liberty to challenge the same.

5. With the above observations, this Contempt Petition is closed. Index : Yes /No 28.04.2025 Internet : Yes/No Speaking / Non-speaking gsk Page No.3 of 4
