The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.162 of 2022 on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge at Mettur, Salem District.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 16.12.2024, I called for a report from the learned Subordinate Judge at Mettur to state as to how long he requires to dispose of O.S.No.162 of 2022.

3. The learned Subordinate Judge at Mettur, Salem District has sent a report stating that the issues were framed and the suit has been listed on 26.02.2025 for trial. The report further states that the learned Judge took charge of that Court on 18.09.2024. As many as 2722 cases are pending before him and therefore, he requests six months time to dispose of the said suit.

4. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge at Mettur to dispose of O.S.No.162 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
