The Petitioner, who is Southern Regional Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board Workers' Federation, has filed this writ petition for directing the Respondents to confer permanent status on the members of the Petitioner's Union whose names are found in the Annexure I and II of the Writ Petition, as per the orders passed by the Inspector of Labour in Na.Ka.No.1880/2000 dated 30.10.2000 and in Na.Ka.No.2074 dated 13.11.2000.

2.In the counter affidavit filed by the First Respondent on 18.08.2014 in this Court, it is seen that the 23 persons referred by the Petitioner in the Writ Petition have been conferred with permanent status by the Respondents. 3.Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
