2.The writ petition has been filed challenging the demand notice issued by the third respondent to the petitioner by proceedings dated 31.12.2003.

3.Mr.K.Rajendran, learned counsel for the fourth respondent submits that after filing of the writ petition, the petitioner had died on 16.06.2008 and that his legal heirs viz., wife Kausalya Rathi and mother Poovathal had subsequently discharged the entire liability owed by the petitioner to the fourth respondent on 29.01.2010 and as such, nothing remains for consideration in this writ petition. Recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
