This petition is filed to condone the delay of 162 days in preferring the above C.M.A. SR.No.164347 of 2024 against the order in MCOP.No.5631 of 2018, on the file of the III Small Causes Court, Chennai.

Heard the learned counsel for the appellant, and the other side has not raised any serious objection for allowing this petition. 3.

This Court is satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed and the delay is condoned.

However, it is made clear that the petitioner shall not be entitled to claim any interest for the period of delay, in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation awarded by the Tribunal.
