Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned orders of the second respondent made in Procs.No.G7/129627/2001 dated 11.05.2002 and as confirmed by the first respondent in Procs.No.G3/94737/2002 dated 20.05.2003, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant all attendant monetary and service benefits to the petitioner. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner retired from service and that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, the learned counsel seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
