..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate order in pursuance of the 1st Respondent communication dated 06/09/2023 to consider the petitioners representation dated 24/08/2023 and further representation dated 09/07/2024 to classify the DC agricultural land to non DC land comprised in Old S.No.49/2, New S.No.79/2A measuring an extent of 1.40 Acres and also in Old S.No.47/3, New S.No.80/3A measuring an extent of 1.35 Acres totaling 2.75 Acres at Aadaiyur Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2024.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 09.07.2024 to classify the DC agricultural land to non DC land comprised in Old S.No.49/2, New S.No.79/2A measuring an extent of 1.40 Acres and also in Old S.No.47/3, New S.No.80/3A measuring an extent of 1.35 Acres totaling 2.75 Acres at Aadaiyur Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the second respondent, till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2024 will be disposed of by the second respondent within a period of 8 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of
the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2024 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
