Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 21.02.2023 of the petitioner and pay a sum of Rs.5,80,937/-(Rupees Five Lakhs Eight Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty Seven only) in the light of the order dated 27.12.2021 passed in P.W.No.5 of 2021 by the Joint Commissioner, Labour-II, Chennai, the authority appointed under the payment of Wages Act, 1936 together with interest at 12% per annum.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2023 and pay a sum of Rs.5,80,937/- in the light of the order dated 27.12.2021 passed in P.W.No.5 of 2021 by the Joint Commissioner, Labour - II, Chennai, the authority appointed under the payment of Wages Act, 1936 together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
