O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to refrain from harassing the petitioner in connection with the fresh complaint, which is based on the same grounds as the earlier complaint, 1/4

and to ensure that no further harassment is caused based on these frivolous allegations.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that initially, one Mrs.L.Subashini, who is none other than the petitioner's sister, lodged a complaint against the petitioner. Even before the summons were issued, the defacto complainant (third respondent), another sister of the petitioner, knowing fully well, preferred a complaint against the petitioner. Instead of cooperating, the petitioner rushed to this Court by way of this petition, and as such, there is no harassment.

3.In view of the above submission, as the complaints have been filed by the petitioner's sisters, no summons have been issued to date, and the petitioner has also not provided any materials to show that he is being harassed by the respondent-Police, the petition is dismissed. The first respondent is directed to serve the summons, and the enquiry may proceed further in accordance with the law. The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the enquiry.
