The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in Crime No.476 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offence under Sections 294(b), 324 & 506(ii) of IPC.
2.It is stated that there are totally four accused and A2 alone has been arrested. The mother of the 1st petitioner/1st accused is running a "Women Self Help Group". The defacto complainant had borrowed money from the said Self Help Group and could not repay it and went over for negotiations, and at that time, all the accused persons had committed the offences as stated by the defacto complainant.
3.There cannot be arm twisting collection of money even if there is due. The proper procedure would be approach the Court of law seeking repayment of the money.
4.Taking into consideration all these factors, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
