Mr.R.U.Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. Since this writ petition is being disposed of without passing any adverse orders against respondents 3 and 4, affecting their interest, notice to those respondents is dispensed with.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2023, in and by which, she sought to survey, sub-divide and issue separate Patta in her favour in respect of Natham land in S.No.273/4, measuring an extent of 2776 sq.ft situated in Kuriyamangalam Village, Pg.Nos.2/5
Bhuvanagiri Taluk, Cuddalore District. Since there was no response from respondents 1 and 2 till date, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter, as it is for respondents 1 and 2 to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Since the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition is for disposal of the representation, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 3 and 4 herein and rival claimants / interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by respondents 1 and 2 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
