.. Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent Bank not to proceed further pending disposal of the appeal before the Hon'ble DRAT, Chennai, in AIR SA No.1653 of 2025.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Against an order of Debts Recovery Tribunal dismissing the SA for want of prosecution, an appeal has been preferred before the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, which is still pending.

2. We do not find any reason at this stage to interfere in the proceedings. However, we would request the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal to pass orders on the petitioner's appeal on the first date of hearing, taking into consideration that it only arises out of an order of dismissal for want of prosecution.

Petition is dismissed, with the aforesaid observation. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim application stands closed.
