This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to uphold the assessment of land in the name of the petitioner and consequently to issue computer patta in favour of petitioner towards the land comprising Survey No. 223/3 measuring 0.78.0 (1 acres 90 cents ) situated at Banavaram Village, Sholinghur Taluk, Ranipet district.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
