The petitioner, who is a lessee of the premises, has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records on the file of the respondent in proceedings dated 03.06.2004 and to quash the same and further direct the respondent to issue license to him, as sought for on 04.03.2004.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.S.Thambuswamy, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is not carrying on the business now and that the owner of the premises Ms.Shanthi is carrying on the business in the premises.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the writ petition can be dismissed.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the writ petition stand dismissed.
